More effort alone will not get your business off the ground
Reading time 2 min
Many entrepreneurs work hard, stay motivated, and still see results that do not match the effort. Here is what the people who do take off are doing differently, drawn from practice rather than theory.
Working harder leads to exhaustion, not progress
The usual answer to slow progress is more: more hours, more motivation, more pushing. Then the energy runs out and the business is roughly where it was.
The problem is not that you do too little. Most people simply start at step two.
You have to become the pilot before the airliner can fly
Imagine your big goal is to fly. Flying stands for your business, your freedom, the life you really want. The work that gets you there is an airliner.
Almost everyone climbs straight in, full of energy and determination. And the plane stays on the ground. Not because it cannot fly, but because the first step was skipped: becoming the pilot. Your biggest obstacle is the person you have been so far. You are good enough. What you are missing is the most basic principle of success.
The order is become, do, have
It does not work in any other order. First you become the person who can actually reach your biggest goals. Then you do the work, and it succeeds. Then you have the results, which follow from that order almost by themselves.
For years I had the wrong mindset and the wrong strategies and hit one wall after another. What changed everything was not more effort but the right order. I have gathered the key lessons from that time as a set of principles, so you can pick up in minutes what took me years.
The free 4-day challenge is the first step
The challenge takes four days, 10 to 20 minutes a day. Each day brings one piece of knowledge and one action to put it into practice. It is easy to understand and immediately usable. This is not self-study: I guide you digitally, step by step.
It is for you if you want to be productive instead of just busy, are open to a systematic approach to self-improvement, and understand that real change starts with you. It is not for you if you are looking for the next short-lived quick fix.
If becoming the pilot first makes sense to you, the link below takes you there. Day 1 starts as soon as you join. Self-improvement is the goal that makes every other goal reachable, especially when it rests on real principles.
